THANKSGIVING CO-OP TRIP
NOVEMBER, 2010

Thanksgiving Report: The Thanksgiving trip was successful from all aspects; good food, good rock hounding and great fellowship. We had 50+ for turkey day and enough food for a potluck the next day. Mother Nature was good to us on Thursday and Friday but created problems for Saturday. We began Saturday with 40mph winds and rain by 10 am when we were on our way to go rock hounding at Four Corners. Everyone found all the Palm root agate they needed with other finds added to the collection.
I would like to thank all the cooks who provided such a great turkey day meal. The turkeys were done to perfection by Marion Roberts, with all the trimmings provided by all the other cooks.

A special thanks to Carl Zeller for taking us to the Rainbow Mine for some great Jasper and agate. We want to thank Bob Wheeler for donating the petrified white oak. Each person got a good specimen for their collection.

Cook was drinking too much sherry... and grew hair?
